LOCAL WEDDINGS Glass-DuBourg Samantha Glass and Bill DuBourg: August 3, 2013 Samantha and Bill met at Lef Field lounge — the bar where Bill works. They had been dating for fve years when, on New Year's Eve, Bill suggested they go on the porch to bang on pots and pans. "I had never even heard of that tradition," Samantha says. They went outside and a ring box fell out of one of the pots. "A good way to ring in the New Year," she says. "We have a very eclectic music taste. We had oldies early on, and then as the sun went down we had more dance-party type music — a really good mix." "Take it in and leave time to actually enjoy it; I don't remember everything about it. Remember to breathe. It only happens once — if you're lucky." "Bill ended up surprising me with a videographer the day of. I didn't think we needed it. You have a budget and you think, 'I'll remember everything.' I didn't remember half of it. It was awesome to watch the ceremony and remember the speeches that were made."
