Occupations: She's a nanny; he's an analyst at Heartland Payment Systems. How they met: During the Schnitzelburg Beer Walk at Check's Cafe. Anastasia's friend was dating Ben's friend and they did the introductions. Engagement: Ben proposed on a family trip to Nolin Lake. Guests: 190. Wedding and reception: "All day long it was supposed to rain and it actually did rain at my apartment while all the girls were getting ready, but never once rained during the wedding," Anastasia says. "My grandmother had passed away in July, and I like to say it was all because of her that the weather stayed perfect, and we ended up having a beautiful sunset." As part of the ceremony, the couple put love letters they'd written to each other in a special box and latched it shut. They plan to read the letters after their frst big fght or on their frst anniversary. Reception: Riverside: the Farnsley-Moremen Landing. DIY touches: Anastasia and her bridesmaids held craft nights to make the centerpieces and paint the Chuck Taylor sneakers she wore. Ben's dad made the altar they used. The matron of honor, who works at Nanz & Kraft, did all the fowers. Desserts: An assortment of cupcakes — strawberry, carrot cake, Italian cream, red velvet, and white. First dance song: "You Are the Best Thing" by Ray Lamontagne. Favorite part of the day: Their frst look at each other before the wedding. What they're really glad they did: Had the ceremony and reception in the same location. Honeymoon: Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
